- Allergies or sensitivities to produce or ingredients
- Pregnancy (some healthcare providers may clear clients for service)
- Active Herpes Simplex 1 & 2
- Hyperpigmentation tendencies (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)
- Inflamed rosacea or acne
- Infectious diseases
- Open sores or suspicious lesions
- Sunburn or irritated skin
- Fragile skin, couperose skin
- Photosensitizing medication (makes skin very sensitive to sun) example Blood pressure medicine, antibiotics, oral medication etc.
- Other contraindicated drugs or medications
- Seizure disorder
- Autoimmune disorders
- Pacemaker
- Diabetes
